About

I am a freelance journalist focused on politics, environmental issues and human rights. I am interested in understanding how these topics are perceived in such vastly different ways by different people. Currently based in Honduras, I report across Central America. My work has appeared in The Guardian, Deutsche Welle, the International Crisis Group, Trouw, InSight Crime and ACLED, among others.

I have an MPhil from the University of Oxford, am HEAT certified and work across written, photo, video and audio in English, Spanish and Dutch.
